What is the waiting room?
For big on sales, a fair line that lets people in a few at a time.

When lots of people want tickets at the same moment, the organiser can use a waiting room. Instead of everyone rushing the tickets at once, you wait in a line and we let people in a few at a time.
How it works
- The waiting room opens 30 minutes before tickets go on sale. Opening the event page then takes you to it.
- At the on sale time, everyone who is already there gets a random place in the line. Arriving early does not put you ahead, so there is no need to be first. People who arrive later join the back.
- The page shows how many people are ahead of you and roughly how long you will wait. Keep it open: it updates by itself.
- When it is your turn, we take you to the tickets. Your pass lasts a set number of minutes, shown on the page, to choose and pay.
Tips
- Keep the page open. Only people with the page open move forward.
- Refreshing does not change your place, and one browser has one place, so extra tabs do not help.
- If every ticket is sold or in someone's basket, the line pauses. Unpaid baskets come back on sale after a few minutes, so it is worth staying.
- If your pass runs out before you buy, you can join the line again, at the back.
