Sending a ticket to a friend
Transfer a ticket to someone else. They get it with a new code.

Can't go, or bought for a friend? You can pass a ticket on for free.
How to transfer
- Log in with the email address your ticket was sent to, and confirm it if you have not yet. (Creating an account takes a minute.)
- Open the ticket from My tickets.
- Press Transfer under the ticket. Enter their full name and their email address twice (so a typo cannot send it to a stranger), tick Your QR stops working as soon as you send it and press Send ticket.
What happens
- Your friend gets an email with their own ticket and a link to open it.
- The ticket gets a new QR code with their name on it. Your copy stops working straight away, and this cannot be undone. Your ticket page then says Passed on, with who you gave it to.
- If they create an account with that email, the ticket shows in their My tickets, and they can pass it on again.
When you cannot transfer
- once the event has started
- when the ticket has been used at the door
- while it is listed for resale (take it off sale first)
- when the organiser has turned transfers off for the event (the button says so)
Want your money back instead? If the organiser allows it, you can sell it to another fan at face value.
